Thomas Gravesen could make a shock return to the Premiership in January — at Manchester United. The Real Madrid midfielder quit England a year ago in a shock £2.5million move from Everton to the Bernabeu. Ironically that came just as United were hoping to land him on a free, had he stayed on Merseyside for the remaining few months of his contract. But he has failed to crack a regular place at Madrid and was dumped from the side which lost to Espanyol on Sunday. Ronaldinho has written off Manchester United and Arsenal as potential Champions League winners. And the Brazilian superstar, voted FIFPro World Player of the Year this week, warned favourites Chelsea there is no guarantee of European success despite another summer of big spending. "I think Chelsea are one of the strongest teams in Europe at the moment along with Real Madrid, Milan, Barcelona and Liverpool," said the Barcelona striker.
